Refers to technology that presents information in more that
one medium, including text, graphics, animation, video, music and voice.
Multimedia definition :
Multimedia is the use of a computer to present and combine
text, graphics, audio and video with links and tools that let the user
navigate, interact, create and communicate.
Hypertext :
Applications software that allows users to link text in
large documents, constructing associations among text files as needed.
Hypermedia :
Whereas hypertext refers to text which is linked, hypermedia can
include graphics, video, sound, etc. which are linked.
Multimedia power :
People retain 20% what they see, 30% what they hear, 50%
what they see and hear simultaneously.and 80% what they see, hear and do
simultaneously.
